Additional Sizes for the Violet Range of High Precision Drills

Mitsubishi Materials Kobe Tools Corporation has recently developed and manufactured several new sizes for the Violet High Precision drill series, VA-PDS. These new drills will start to be sold by Mitsubishi Materials Tools Corporation (President: Osamu Takata, Headquarters: 1-6-1 Yokoami, Sumida-ku, Tokyo).
The VA-PDS drill is the ultimate in high precision with a superior heat and wear resistant
Violet coating. They are now available in size increments of 0.01mm from the smallest diameter of 0.5mm up to 2.0mm, and in size increments of 0.05mm from a diameter of 2.05mm up to 12.0mm. This makes them suitable for a wider range of drilling applications that need high accuracy.
A total expanded range of 361 different sizes is now available compared to the previous 126.
The greatly expanded range has been launched to compliment the already existing and highly successful range of Violet High Precision drills for stainless steel.
