New carbide shank holders for the ARX small diameter radius end mill series

Mitsubishi Materials Corporation has recently developed and manufactured new carbide shank type holders for the ARX end mill series. These new holders will start to be sold by Mitsubishi Materials Tools Corporation (President: Osamu Takata, Headquarters: 1-6-1 Yokoami, Sumida-ku, Tokyo).
The ARX series has established a good reputation since its launch as a user-friendly mould
cutting tool. To respond to customer demands for stability in long overhang applications,
carbide shank holders are now included in the ARX range.Features of the ARX carbide shank holders

- Capable of a greater depth of milling than conventional steel shank holders.

- Highly rigid carbide shank allows for stable machining without vibration, therefore ensuring extended tool life and economical insert usage.

- Offset neck design allows for good accessibility to the workpiece.
