Launch of double clamp holders for heavy cutting

Mitsubishi Materials Corporation has recently developed and manufactured new Double Clamp type holders for heavy cutting operations. These new holders will start to be sold by Mitsubishi Materials Tools Corporation (President: Osamu Takata, Headquarters: 1-6-1 Yokoami, Sumida-ku, Tokyo).
The Double Clamp holders for heavy cutting, newly added to Mitsubishi Materials’ external
turning holder range, feature high clamping force on the insert to enable stable cutting,
even during heavy interrupted machining.Features of the Double Clamp series

- The double action type clamping system provides a high clamping force on the insert ensuring stable machining even during heavy interrupted cuts.

- By providing the same Allen key holes on both ends of the clamp screws, easier replacement of the insert is possible.
