Addition to the small boring bar series: φ15.875 and φ25.4 shank type RBH round holders

Mitsubishi Materials Corporation has recently developed and manufactured new φ15.875 and φ25.4 shank sizes for the RBH type round holders for small boring bars. These new holders will start to be sold by Mitsubishi Materials Tools Corporation (President: Osamu Takata, Headquarters: 1-6-1 Yokoami, Sumida-ku, Tokyo).
The RBH type holders are designed for use with MICRO-MINI, MICRO-MINI TWIN, MICRO-DEX
small boring bars and can be installed into drill type tool posts on automatic and NC
lathes. Since the initial launch the RBH holders has enjoyed a good reputation for a
wide choice of products to suite various types of machine tool posts. The new φ15.875 and φ25.4 shank holders will be supplied in response to strong customer demands for a wider selection of products.
