Mitsubishi Carbide announces an expansion of APX indexable end mill and face mill cutters. This multi-functional tool incorporates many features and benefits uniquely designed into these products with our customers’ challenging productivity needs in mind. Combined with VP15TF coated inserts balanced for wear and fracture resistance and VP20RT developed for stainless steel applications, low cutting resistance and reduced heat generated in cut is achieved from insert rake design. Ramping, drilling, grooving and helical interpolation are some operations this high performance tool easily commands. APX is a tool qualified for high wall accuracy applications as well as roughing operations producing good surface finishes. This unparalleled product is targeted for applications in cutting steel, stainless steel, and cast Iron at extreme speeds and feeds.
