Mitsubishi Materials USA corporation introduces a new product for machining Aluminum alloys more efficiently. The AXD7000 represents the latest technology to meet customer demands of cutting performance.

Technical Information:
  • AXD offers deep DOC (.827" max) & 2-screw clamping security
  • The dual clamping screws prevent insert displacement at high spindle speeds
  • Inserts are accurately ground and polished “gems”, which can produce exceptional wall accuracy
  • High metal removal rates possible, due to unique design
  • Size ranging from 1.25” to 3.0" & manufactured with coolant/air through
  • Inserts available with a .031” to .197” corner radius
  • For Inserts with corner radius .157" & .197”, bodies will be available spring 2009
