VFMHVRB, VF6MHV, VF6MHVRB; extensions of the Mitsubishi Materials variable helix product line.

Mitsubishi Materials U.S.A. Corporation is proud to provide an expansion of our variable helix offering. This expansion includes three different styles; VFMHVRB, VF6MHV and VF6MHVRB. The VFMHVRB is a 4 flute variable helix with a radius at the corner of the cutting edges. The VF6MHV is a 6 flute variable helix end mill. The VF6MHVRB is a 6 flute variable helix with a radius at the corner of the cutting edges.
Technical Information:
- Irregular helix assists in the prevention of vibration
- Stable cutting with long overhang applications
- Applicable with difficult to cut materials and hardened steels
- Highly heat resistant with Impact Miracle coating
- New flute geometry developed for variable helix design
- VFMHVRB and VF6MHVRB have an assortment of radii with each cutting diameter
Applications to Target:
- Applications with long overhang
- Applications where vibration is a problem
- Difficult to cut materials such as hardened steels, titanium alloys, and high temperature alloys
- Materials such as stainless steels and irons where vibration is a major concern
- Use 6 flute type end mills when the finish tolerance is of a higher demand to the customer
