Mitsubishi Carbide presents our new high performance SRM2. The new ball nose end mill has capabilities that are best suited for high performance roughing to medium finishing of large molds. SRM2 is an accurate end mill utilizing precision ground inserts for close tolerance mold applications. Thicker inserts and a heavy core body resist fracture. SRM2 chipbreaker design allows for lower cutting resistance. Lower resistance equals higher quality finishes. SRM2 is characteristically appropriate for high speed rates and moderate feeds. End mills are available in 3/4, 1 and 1 ¼ inch diameters and various type lengths. All are standard with air coolant through. This product is targeted for machining 3-D milling applications, hard to reach machining such as automotive bumper molds but is not limited from broader applications.
