ASX400 indexable insert shoulder end mill

Mitsubishi Carbide introduces ASX400 shoulder end mill. An economically contrived end mill which utilizes inserts with 4 cutting edges. Insert cutting edge 3-D design and large rake angles for end mill provides low cutting resistance and close tolerance wall accuracy. ASX400 end mill is suited for various cutting modes such as shoulder, face and slot milling. Mitsubishi Carbide's Proprietary No-Fly-Inserts prevent movement during machining applications. Available end mill sizes are 1.25, 1.50 and 2 inch cutting diameter. Hard coat surface treatment to end mill body resists corrosion and reduces wear. Polished inserts stocked for aluminum alloys and VP15TF coated stock inserts are for a wide range of steel materials.
