cBN BF Breaker Insert

Mitsubishi Materials is pleased to offer cBN breaker inserts to compliment our existing cBN product line.
- Technical Information:
- • BF chip breaker is designed for chip removal on hardened work pieces
- • The R shaped chip breaker optimizes breaking point of chip along the chip breaker position
- • Inserts offered in cBN coated grade MBC020
- • A wide variety of insert geometries are offered for various manufacturing applications
- Applications to Target:
- • Applications where chip control is a problem
- • Automated manufacturing where decreased productivity may occur from chip interference
- • Hard part turning, where surface finish is critical, the BF cBN breaker optimizes production
- • Applications when cutting of hard and soft materials in the same application
- Benefits:
- • Mitsubishi's BF cBN breaker is offered in coated grade MBC020
- • The combination of BF breaker and MBC020 grade allows excellent tool life while providing proper chip evacuation
- • Mitsubishi offers the BF breaker in Positive and Negative style inserts
