cBN2XLB expansion for solid carbide end mills

Mitsubishi Materials U.S.A. has expanded it's selection of long necked, ball nose, cBN end mills. These products are illustrated in the C004A catalog along with dimensions and recommended cutting conditions.

Technical Information:
  • The cBN2XLB expansion provides tools with a shorter neck length and longer overall length for extended reach applications
  • The cBN is diffused to the neck which adds strength to the solid carbide neck and body
  • The cBN material has a seamless edge geometry
  • Radius tolerance of minus 0.005mm

Applications to Target:
  • Mold and die industry
  • Hardened steels over 50 HRc
