Expansion of FV chip breaker inserts

98 additional, positive rake, inserts will become available with the FV chip breaker
Technical Information:
- The FV chip breaker is our first recommendation for finishing carbon steel, alloy steel and mild steel
- Sharp cutting edge and low resistance design provides excellent cutting performance
- Suitable for low DOC and IPR applications
- Availability in "C" side relief angle inserts is being expanded
- Availability in "B" and "P" side relief angle inserts is being initiated
- Inserts are mainly intended for use in Dimple bars
- Inserts are now available in coated carbide grades UE6020 and VP10RT and cermet grades NX2525 and NX3035
Applications to Target:
- Turning and boring applications in carbon steel, alloy steel and mild steel
- Apply cermet grades when boring or finish turning
- Applications with DOC's from 0.008" to 0.03"
- Applications with feed rates from 0.002" to 0.008" per rev
- Applications where chip control is critical such as cells with robotic work handling
- Applications using C, D, T and V shaped positive rake inserts
