Technical Information:
- MC5020 grade ensures stable, reliable machining to cover all cast iron milling applications
- The newly developed CVD coated grade MC5020 has excellent wear, chipping, and thermal cracking resistance
- MC5020 prevents problems usually associated with machining cast irons, due to the grade structure and features
- MC5020 grade is available for a variety of our milling products
- MC5020 is offered for AHX640, FBP415, ASX400, ASX445, SE445, SE545, SE300, SE400 and more..
Applications to Target:
- Machining of cast iron and ductile iron parts
- Machining of automotive suspension components and diesel engines
- Machining of gear housings, transmission cases and even die & mold, (press mold base)
- Machining of cast iron milling for prolonged periods is possible, due to a newly developed CVD coated grade MC5020
