Face grooving blades for the GY grooving system expansion.

Technical Information:

• Adapts with all GY system technology
• Uses current line of holders and inserts
• Launch includes M25 blades, (25mm height), left or right handed and various groove depths
• Due to the angle of the seat, the cutting width will vary under certain cutting diameters, (see charts page)
• GY face blade's are manufactured with an outward sweep
• Blade selection is dependant on your starting diameter, there are various options to fit our customer's needs

• Face grooving
• Face turning

Benefits:

• GY grooving system provides high rigidity utilizing the Tri Lock system
• Face blades will allow current cutting depths with it's array of availability
• Using only the outward sweep simplifies choosing which blade is necessary
• With traverse applications it is recommended to start your face groove at the large diameter and work towards the small diameter; although you will create clearance while machining in either direction
