MMTER, Small shank non-offset holders for swiss style lathes

Technical Information:

• 3/8 and 1/2" square shank, non-offset, threading insert holders for swiss style lathes & small screw machines
• Will accept all 16 size MMT lay down threading inserts
• Will accept M class inserts with molded chip breaker
• Will accept G class inserts for highest precision threads
• Inserts available in VP10MF grade for highest wear resistance
• Inserts available in VP15TF grade with high fracture resistance for low rigidity applications like bar feed threading

Applications to Target:

• Any threading application where a non-offset threading insert holder is required
• Any threading application requiring a 3/8" or 1/2" square shank holder
• Applications in swiss style automatic lathes
• Applications in small scew machines
• Applications in gang style machines

• Non-offset head allows use in swiss style automatic lathes
• Team with GT series groovers if thread relief is needed
• Provide a method to produce proper root radii in coarse pitched threads
